Operating System Build Reviews

Build Reviews are performed on the core of a systems configuration. RootShell Security review the minutiae of settings that may not otherwise be assessed.

The security of a system does not consist merely of its profile to the network. Often the resilience of a system to misuse; by authorised users, to the actions of an attacker or Malware code that has already obtained a degree of access; is of concern to security managers.

As well as analysing the settings relevant to the systems perimeter security, a Build Review will discover security issues within the core configuration of the system and, therefore, provide recommendations to mitigate threats deep within the system’s implementation that have been overlooked in the design, implementation or by other tests.
