Salary: £40,000-£50,000 plus bonus

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team.
As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in identifying, qualifying, and generating new business opportunities for our sales team. You will leverage your strong communication and research skills to prospect potential clients and help expand our market presence in the cybersecurity space.
Role responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Research and identify new business opportunities through cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn and networking.
- Qualify Leads: Engage with potential clients to understand their cybersecurity needs and assess their readiness for a security solution.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate relationships with prospective clients, nurturing them through the early stages of the sales funnel.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with Account Executives and the sales team to pass qualified leads, ensuring a smooth handover for further sales efforts.
- CRM Management: Use CRM tools to manage and track lead generation efforts, interactions, and sales activities.
- Achieve KPIs: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and qualification targets.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience in a BDR or sales development role, preferably in the cyber security space
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage with prospects and qualify leads effectively.
- Motivated, self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and grow in sales.
- Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce) and lead generation tools.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a SaaS or cyber security sales environment.
- Understanding of the cyber security industry and trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
