What is OT security testing?
Operational technology (OT) is the equipment that runs physical processes, such as industrial control systems and SCADA. OT testing looks for security weaknesses in these systems and the networks around them.
How is it different from IT testing?
Availability and safety come first in OT. The approach is agreed with you before testing starts, with the risk to live operations in mind.
What about IoT?
We test connected devices and the services they rely on, including how they are set up, updated and managed.
Can you test without touching live systems?
This depends on your environment. We discuss what is possible, such as test systems or limited checks, during scoping.
