What is the Rootshell Platform MCP Server?
Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that connects AI assistants to the systems that hold your data. The Rootshell Platform MCP Server uses it to give your AI assistant secure, conversational access to your exposure management data: vulnerabilities, exploit intelligence, remediation activity and asset context.
Security data usually sits across scanners, penetration tests, dashboards and reports. Instead of exporting spreadsheets or building reports, you ask a question and get an answer from your own Rootshell Platform data.
The MCP Server is in beta and is enabled per tenant for participating clients.

Bring your own AI

Secure by design
Read-only by design
Assistants can retrieve and analyse your data, but never change it.
Permission-aware
Only the data your user can already see in the Rootshell Platform.
Secure sign-in
OAuth 2.0 authentication, with a server address for each tenant.
