Business Development Manager – UK Based

SALES TEAM

You will work within the sales team reporting to the Sales Director and this role will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding market presence within the Cyber Security sector.

Working pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (hybrid), 12pm – 8pm.

Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, this person will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in the US, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and strategically positioning our PTaaS solutions to meet their needs.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to build and lead your own team of talented professionals.

Role Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship building.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our client base and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.

Team Building and Leadership:

  • Recruit, onboard, and train a high-performing team of business development professionals.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to help them achieve their goals.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to optimize sales efforts.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and identify areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experience in the Cyber Security industry, ideally Penetration Testing.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a drive to achieve targets.
  • Proven experience and success in outbound telesales within the ICT/Telecoms space.
  • CRM or Salesforce.com experience is a plus.
  • Experience of closing new business over the phone.
  • History of working with marketing on new business campaigns.
  • Possess strong commercial awareness and experience of sales forecasting, targeting and reporting.
  • Have a good standard of computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), writing and numeric skills.
  • Have excellent verbal and presentation skills.
  • Be articulate, confident, and tenacious with the ability to self-manage and act on your own initiative.
