Application Features

Platform Improvements

  • Email Notification for 2FA Reset – Users will now receive email notifications when their 2FA is reset in the platform. This new feature prompts users to reset their 2FA, provides step-by-step instructions, and alerts them in case of unauthorized resets.

  • Inconsistent Filtering Behaviour in Overview and Remediator Dashboard – The issue total tiles in the Overview Dashboard and Remediator dashboards now correctly carry the filtered query when a filter is applied. This ensures that the links on the tiles lead to the filtered Issues page, providing accurate and relevant information.

  • Multi-Project Filtering Feature – Users unable to filter by more than one project, causing inefficiency and time-consuming administrative tasks. The requested feature would enable filtering multiple projects simultaneously, improving productivity for Project Managers.

  • Decommissioned Host Indicator – An orange icon is added to indicate the decommissioned status of a specific host at phase level, preventing further decommissioning.

  • Enhanced Issue Filtering and Projects page calculation fix – The Rootshell Platform’s projects page now includes accept risk and suppressed issues in its remediated issues calculation. To ensure consistency, accept risk and false positive filters have been added to the open issues filter on the issues page.

  • Modified Query for ‘Assigned to me’ – This feature improves the Main Dashboard’s “Assigned to Me” tab by modifying the query to display issues and issues with open affected instances for the user.

  • Enhancement of Permissions Tab Display – This feature improvement enhances the “Permissions” tab on the Phase and Project Dashboards in the platform. It provides more detailed information, including User Role perspective, View Only Access Permissions, and Edit Only Access Permissions.

  • Improved Loading Speed for Asset Groups Page – Loading time for asset group pages with multiple assets undergoing continuous testing has been drastically reduced. The default focus of the page now loads the assets listing first, significantly improving loading speed. The query for the affected instances tab has been optimized and loads in the background while the user browses the asset list, enhancing overall performance.

  • Improved Loading Speed for Assets page – Tenants with large Issue data sets will experience significantly faster loading times on the assets page.

  • Improved Loading Speed for Issues page – Enhancements to our platform have reduced individual paginated page load times to under a second when visiting the {{results/issues}} section. This improvement is achieved by optimizing the calculation of page and host totals.

  • Improved Loading Speed for Project Page pagination – The Rootshell Platform now ensures fast loading times for tenants with large issue data sets on the projects page. Users can expect each page on the projects section ({{/projects}}) to load in under a second, providing a seamless experience.

  • Improved Task Assignment Workflow – The tasks in the Technical QA, Grammar QA, and Final Review stages will be disabled until the user initiates them.

  • Bug Fixes – Included a comprehensive set of bug fixes to enhance platform robustness and efficiency.

New Features

    • One Ecosystem has introduced a domain prefix approach for tenant architecture, resulting in a new web address format: <tenant-name>.<region>.prism-platform.com. This feature brings several enhancements to our platform, improving maintenance capabilities and preparing for future growth.

    Key Benefits:

    1. Scalability: The domain prefix approach enables handling multiple platform instances efficiently, accommodating future expansion without compromising system performance.

    2. Streamlined User Experience: Users can now access multiple platform instances within a single application, eliminating the need to navigate to separate URLs for each instance. This convenience reduces complexity and enhances productivity.

    3. Simplified Code Management: All instances of the platform will now operate from a unified application codebase. This consolidation streamlines code maintenance efforts, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the platform.
