Rootshell Security have officially obtained UKAS accredited certifications in ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 9001:2015. The news demonstrates the Rootshell team’s commitment to data privacy and delivering cyber security services to the highest quality standards.

Independent auditors verified that Rootshell conforms to the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO) rigorous specifications. ISO 27001 demonstrates that Rootshell’s information security meets international standards, and ISO 9001 testifies to Rootshell’s implementation of a quality management system. This includes adopting a strong client focus and striving for continuous improvement.

The hard work began in March 2020. Rootshell have since introduced over one-hundred policies, which lay out best practice processes and procedures for employees to abide by.

The Stage 1 audit took place in mid-July and the second followed in September. The audits went exceptionally well; on completion of the Stage 2 audit, no improvement requests were made.

Jim Taylor, Rootshell Security Chief Information Security Officer, spearheaded the process from start to finish. Jim said: “We’re extremely proud to be recognised by ISO for our commitments to implementing the highest quality information security and quality management systems. It shows how committed we are to providing the best service to our clients within the cyber security industry.”
